I'm going to install a manual shift knob into my AT, I know I can shift fine from R, N, D. But from P to R on AT I can't shift unless I press the trigger.

Are there certain cars that need that locking mechanism trigger? Or no regardless of any car?
That Stanced model is funny @ 1:16.

When you want to move through the lever (P,R,N,D) the selector will move freely. However, from P to R you have to press the brake. Be careful with the manual knob because the selector can move freely from R,N and D even while driving.

I tried moving the knob from P to R while pressing the brake, it didn't move, it only moved when I pressed the trigger. I'll see once I get it installed, if it doesn't work who wants it?

You can still borrow it, I just haven't had the need to drive south for anything for a week. If anything Friday night or install on Sunday.

Deal! I'm pretty excited. If I can get Jay to bring out the lip, I'll have two new additions to my car for the cruise!

The trigger? Are you still using your AT knob? If you are then obviously, you'll have to pull the trigger. If you're using a MT knob then all you do it press the brake and you can go from "Park" to "Reverse."

What kind of lip did you get for your Performance front?

Yeah still using it, I pretend that it was a manual without the trigger at first, just making sure.

Anybody know a place in and around bay area that does a great job wrapping?
I'm trying to have my rear m-tech diffuser wrapped in CF since my M3 spoiler is CF that way my ass isn't all over the place with CF spoiler, Jet Black car and the matte black/grey looking diffusor.
Any recommendations?

I used a hair dryer for my interior wrap. Cookie helped me wrap my entire interior and that involves a lot of stretching, heating, cutting, etc. If you only plan to wrap the diffuser, that should be a lot easier.

Oh, okay. Where'd you get the wrapping film at?

Order it through 3M or contact BLOX racing (where I got mine). SpeedElement also has them but it's a little bit thinner than what I was looking for. If you go to the cruise, I'll show you the difference of thickness between the two.
