New member / E90 335i

New to the forums and also new to the BMW community. I purchased a CPO 2008 E90 335i with 38,112 miles Crimson Red/Black Dakota leather.
It has the following packages:
Premium Package
Sport Package
Comfort Access
Cold Weather Package

The BMW dealership that I bought this car from (BMW of the Woodlands) was great to deal with. This 335i was a 1 owner car bought from this dealership and traded in for a newer model. It has had the transmission seal replaced, HPFP replaced and the injectors as well. Both turbo's and waste gates were checked and are fine. They put brand new tires on it and a oil change. I also bought a maintenance package as well for piece of mind . My initial impressions are wow what a car from the looks, handling and the power displacement. The car is very comfortable inside and didn't take long for me to learn and navigate through the iDrive system. I have to say out of all the vehicles I have owned this stock Logic 7 system sounds incredible! e90post forum seems to be the best forum I have found so far for BMW's ( maybe someone can point me in the right direction to some other great BMW forums as well ) I hope to learn a wealth of knowledge/information on this forum. At this point I do not want to void my very expensive warranty and plan on doing mostly cosmetic mods. So far I have tinted the windows, purchased carbon fiber emblems for the front, back, wheel caps and steering wheel. Also bought a after market (late model look) LED shifter. Going to have 4 inch exhaust tips installed on Monday. Would like to install some brighter and more White then Yellow angel eyes ( maybe some on here can point me in the right direction ) Don"t really want to spend Lux money but do want quality and a noticeable difference. Looking to change the wheels as well. So far I like the GT7 Silver wheels and the VMR 710's in Silver. Going to stay with the 18 inch size wheel. If someone can also help me with some of the slang terms used here on the forum. So far I learned my car is a E90 (Meaning Sedan) and is also referred to as a Pre Lci. I believe my engine is referred to as the N54? Are there other slang terms that I am missing Sorry for all these questions just trying to learn Thanks in advance for the help.

Now on to some photo's of my new pride and joy that I took this morning. Keep in mind that I am a amature photographer but think they came out pretty good and thought I would share. Enjoy

Congrats on the new car man. Love the color. A lot of the things you have learned aren't slang as much as they are the technical names for them. Yours is the E90 (sedan), the N54 is the twin turbo motor, which was replaced by the N55 in 2010 (?). LCI is Life Cycle Impulse; fancy way of saying they did a face lift on the car (2009 I believe?). You have the original look of the car.
Anyways, congrats again. Hope you love it

I love the 2008 335i wheels. I love the dished shape. Way nicer than my stock 2009 wheels!

Nice ride the red really looks nice.

first off looks great!

Second, can you give me more details on the shifter? I love the way the newer one looks and if it's easy enough I'd love to update my car with it.

Thanks!

Well an update on my newest mod exhaust tips. Went by my local muffler shop that has done every car iv'e owned and had them put some 4 inch tips on today. Love the way they turned out. Very aggressive looking and the best and cheapest mods so far @ $60's installed. Took a couple photo's and thought I would share.
