Removed my JB4 and my Catless DPs are still on the car and now I'm getting a Check Engine Soon light.

Is this from the down pipes?

Yes, because you don't have a catalytic converter anymore. Google "02 sensor spacer mini cat"

throw one of those on the rear/lower sensor and it should take care of it, mine is currently on order. Look for a 90 degree angle one, the straight ones don't have enough clearance to allow the 02 sensor in.

The one you show in your post doesn't look like it has enough room for the 02 sensor to fit inside of it

yea these spacers are life savers but they usually dont let the o2 monitors set But your allowed to have one monitor unset for inspection.

I'm returning the car on the lease with the DP in and just don't want them to realize if the CES light is on.

And how do I know I'm ordering the correct one? Are the threads all the same for these?

Yeah it's a pretty standard size but if you're curious it's M18 x 1.5

Just a heads up you might want to throw the stock DP back on if your returning it to the dealer, pretty sure it's illegal to do otherwise

Depends on how quick I need to turn this in. I asked the BMW tech that installed it for me and he said as long as there's no code or light on due to it... They won't even know

The 02 sensors are located in your downpipe. If you're under the car follow your exhaust pipes forward untill they change direction and start to go up into the car, the "pipe" going up towards the engine is your downpipe. It will have 2 02 sensors sticking out of it. The mini cat goes on on the lower one.

I've always done this stuff on a lift, just safer

You do realize if you turn the car in with the DP on, and something happens down the line, you can and will be held responsible right? Well, I mean, unless you didnt sign the lease contract, but I would think your dealership might notice something like that.

Not really sure, maybe call around to auto part stores and explain to them what you're looking for and they may be able to recommend you where to pick one up
