Exclamation Changed my sparkplugs! does this look like normal wear?

hey guys finally got around to changing my sparkplugs the other day, thought id post some pics up to see if yours looked similar when you changed them ?

btw plugs 2&3 have oil on them due to an oil leak. plugs are in order from 1st on the right and 6th on the left . sorry for the big pics.. off my iphone

Looks like a head gasket leak. Notice the oil around the threads on your plugs.

You mean valve gasket, not head gasket.

everyone said it was the valve cover gasket because there was oil at the bottom of coil packs #2 & 3. I cleaned out the oil that had built up in the holes and the oil hasnt come back for about 4 - 5 days now ? im hoping that it was just oil that was carelessly spilt while doing an oil change. There was tons of evidence of spilt oil under my engine cover ...

How old are those plugs? They all look EXTREMELY worn.

What he said. I wonder if mine were replaced and I don't have a record of it because my car has close to 75K miles now and when I replaced them on Sat. they didn't look anywhere near that worn. You running a tune?

Changed mine at 60k and they looked a lot better than these however the color is right on, so that's a good indication that your engine is running well.

no clue how old they are! I bought the car at 120K im now at 135K and decided it was time to swap them out (car wasnt running how smooth it was when i first bought it ) i just have a jb+(hardly a tune) in the car now , i believe the PO ( 335alive) was running a jb3 before me
