3 stage intake manifold question

I just sold my intake manifold off of my 330i and the guy who bought it is apparently having a tough time installing it.

There is a hose on the intake manifold that attached to my throttle body when it was on my car, but the problem now is that his car's throttle body doesn't have that input to stick that hose on. Where does it go?

Also he swears that the manifold will not work on his e91 because it's not compatible.

How can it be not compatible if it came off of my personal 330i? The 330i is the only 3 stage manifold that came on the e9x.

He's saying that my manifold only works on pre LCI cars and it wont work on his car because his is an LCI.

I already know it's BS.

his CCV breather hose had 2 out puts and the 3SIM had one input and he said it wouldn't work.

I gave him my single 330i 3SIM CCV breather hose and it worked, but now the other hose is giving him doubts.

It's like a braided air hose that is attached to the 2006 330i 3SIM and it's attached to the 330i's throttle body.

If the new car doesn't have that input on the throttle body, where does that hose attach to? Do you just plug it off?

Hi there. I?m the one who bot the intake...

Here is my issue:

1) the 330i 3 stage has an oil separator housing attached to the mani. While my 2012 e91 mani has the oil separator built within the valve cover

2) there is a hose coming out of the 330i mani?s oil separator housing that is supposed to connect to the throttle body but my 2012 e91 has no connector for the throttle body.

3) the 330i mani has a single CCV port while my 2012 has dual CCV ports. There is a wire coming from the single CCV breather hose. Where does this connect to?

4) there is another wire coming from the 330i mani?s oil separator. Where does this connect to?

Any help much appreciated

The hose I provided is the hose you need.

There are people who used the 2 outlet "Y" shaped hose and plugged off one of the outlets just to reuse the hose, but you already have the correct hose. Plug that hose to the valve cover and the other end to the intake manifold.

As far as plugs, there should be 6 plugs total.

2 for the DISAS

4 for the harness on the bottom side of the manifold

Let's wait and see what other members have to say about it and where the plugs go. When I removed my manifold to replace with new DISAs I marked each plug with tape to know exactly where each plug goes (for the 4 plugs on the bottom). The large and small DISAs are self explanatory.

The manifolds are the same except for the number of ports for the CCV.

Yeah. That's what I've always been saying.

The only thing that confuses me is the hose that connects to the throttle body.

There is a thin braided hose that goes from the manifold to the throttle body. His throttle body doesn't have it.
