It's not an issue of the connector being physically different -- to the best of my knowledge, all OBD-II compliant vehicles are required to use the same plug and form factor. This was done for commonality across code scanners, emission testing centers...and products like ours.

The issue is that the protocol used for read/flash/reflash has changed.

Best regards,
Lance

Physically they are the same shape/size since my BT cable works in my 09 and my friends 07. Not sure about the pin count though.

Thanks for clarification, this has been a repeat asked question for 07 owners etc. Please make this as reference cause I am sure it will come back up again.

Disclaimer, that's all. They didn't test it, so couldn't be sure about bugs.

Awesome results. Be interesting to see what you get with a custom tune for the extra mods you have. I bet you're leaving a lot on the table.

Trust me, the car right now is slow compared to what I am used to. Leaving alot on the table is the nicest way I could put it lol. Im guessing something along the lines of 50whp is left on the table in daily driving form on meth.

Wow. Should be interesting to see how far they get without meth. Given I'm skeptical of major fuel system expansion solutions on this platform, that's really the next test before they have to tackle all the MI tuning complications.

Sure makes some people yearn for the $4500 long block replacement days.
