Hey guys, I just got a PM from Long(o!) about this set deal. Can I get on the list too?

I've been waiting forever it seems for some swaybar goodness - hope I didn't miss out on the offer.

Edit: Oops, Longo - my mistake. Nice to meet you, and thanks for getting UUC onboard for the sways. I can't believe you did it. I didn't think anything short of a large public campaign would get anyone interested in the XI modders.

Getagrip, you can pick up the rears right now if you'd like, just call Rob (908-874-9092).

I think that anyone who actually wants the rears as a part of the set should probably order now so we can back up the claim of interest. If you'd like to wait that's fine as well

OK, so Rob said that now that we have the 20 member following they'll start seriously discussing it with engineering and get it in motion. In order to guarantee production they will most likely need to have 20 presold. So at some point we'll have to collect a deposit from 20 interested members. But for now, he took my number and will be contacting me with the next steps as soon as he knows them.

So...for right now just sit tight, we'll wait on their call. In the mean time, contact ANYONE you know that has an xi. Honestly, if you remember someone from another thread that drove an xi but you didn't see them here, PM THEM! The more people we have the easier it will be to guarantee 20 deposits and 20 sales.

Also, in terms of fitment, they need to get together with engineering and discuss the car first. I'll ask again in our next conversation. To me it seems they should fit no problem...but that's just speculation.

Again, thanks for the support guys!

I want the bars. I just need to find someone local I can trust to install them before I commit.

Unfortunately I just posted a thread in the service forum trying to find another installer because the authorized installer in my area won't be available until May 28th!!! I'll post info on diameter tomorrow.

Just to clarify, did you say the rear sway install is a pretty easy diy? Sort of interested as my car hasn't arrived yet, and haven't fully tested how the xi is on the test drive. But definitely interested if I feel I need an improvement over oem.

No, not at all. The rear is the bitch of the bunch. Apparently you have to drop the rear subframe to install? The front is supposed to be easy.

got any pics of the undercarriage where the sway bars mount? I'm not quite following what dropping the subframe entails. Thx.
