Yup here is the picture of your trim and you can clearly see it's fine prior to installation. Maybe you pushed on the vent a little too hard when re-installing the rear vent piece. Don't worry just get a sharpie marker and you can fill in that small gap.

i think i slammed it back too hard~_~...damn it..

How will these CF fabric hold up to everyday use? Does anyone have any experience with these installed for a year or more?

I could imagine the fabric could be easily damaged in the back seat area when people gets in and out of the car (E92).

Hello jpsum, sending you a PM but NOT to worrry one year is NOTHING for my vinyl fabric. I give my vinyl fabric a 3YR FULL warranty against fading, cracking, and or peeling, also on my workmanship.

If you buy that other cheap FAUX Carbon Fiber vinyl sold here by other vendors expect this to happen.
