JB4 92 Octane Dynos - With Current Shipping Firmware!

I managed to convince BMS to go out to the dyno again and do some 92 octane pulls on the current shipping firmware for me This is the firmware that is shipping as part of the e90post group buy which will be closing in the next few days.

Car is modded as follows (FMIC, DPs, Intake) Has stock exhaust (post DPs), stock DVs, stock flywheel, etc.)

Dyno is as follows (92 Octane)

Baseline - Stock Tune
Map2 - 14.5 PSI
Map6 - 15.5 PSI

Mike can you include your boost curve log from the dyno and AFRs? Great numbers...would be nice to somehow hold that power to redline on the stock turbos..

Looks like more boost on the 2.8k and the spool up. The 4k is the infamous VANOS event.

I think there needs to be more dyno's of tune only or tune + DCI dynos. There is a large group of people that are not FBO.

Compared to what?

It would look a lot less wavy if the HP/tQ axis was more squished together like in the Procede 6AT thread

Map 2 is off the shelf and map 6 was just something BMS was playing with on the dyno to boost power up a bit. But here are what "wavy" dynos look like for comparison:

IT is wavey, just not as bad as the Jb3 dynos. So an improvement nonetheless.

Still curious what ignition looked like. I know this aspect will continue to be ignored.

No it's not wavey, a big reason it looks more wavey than Shiv's 6AT thread is because the y axis on Shiv's dyno plot is more squished together.

Yes sorry I fixed it. Was going over several things and attached the wrong tag to this dyno on my computer.

Do you wear glasses? Put them on. No one said anything about Shiv's dyno's.

WOW... Great power on 92 octane! Dyno looks great. CF is STD and smoothing set to 5, and everything looks in place. Good looking graph.
