Changing job situation may require me to take the commuter rail to the city every day and I won't need 2 cars in the garage. My other car (Tacoma) is newer and suits my current lifestyle better in the Northeast. So my beloved E46 M3 is up for sale:

Here's the kicker: If you can manage to put 10k miles on the car before end of June 2011 (display currently says Inspection II due in 10,225 miles), you get free Inspection II as part of the maintenance plan. I haven't done the exact math, but that's good for at least $1500.

Work done on the car during my ownership:

1. Subframe checked and Okayed. Twice.
2. Ignition coils replaced under warranty
3. AC Pulley and belts changed under warranty for squeek issue
4. Rear alignment adjuster and bushing replaced under BMW Goodwill
5. Power steering fluid flushed and replaced
6. Adaptation values reset. Twice.
7. Rear view mirror replaced under warranty for mercury leak.
8. Passenger side mirror motor replaced under warranty for motor issue.

Condition of car: 9.5 out of 10. I am sure all M3 owners have a fairy tale to sell you on how they pamper their car. I will put my money where my mouth is. I am attaching the full service book I maintain on the car to the end of this post after pictures, you can draw your own conclusions. Please pay particular attention to the "Wash/Clean" category in the spreadsheet. :shiftdriv Always garaged in a non-heated garage. Always washed in a brushless facility.

We can argue all night about whether KBB is accurate, but in the interest of fairness (I personally believe KBB is generally over-inflated as far as used M3s go), I am asking $1.3k less than KBB private party value of $28,815. Ergo, asking price is $27,500. I could probably negotiate a bit more on price, if you are paying with cash or certified check. Financed via my credit union, so title will be available a few days after making payment to my bank.
