How do you know if you have sport suspension?

Assuming I have the VIN, is there a way to find out? I believe my car was listed as having the Premium and Sport packages, but I don't know if that necessarily means it has sport suspension.

I'm curious because it affects how I read the lowering rates on different springs. Also, I'm assuming if I have sport, I effectively take off 0.6" from the rate since the sport lowers it by 0.6?

if you have 18" wheels, you have sport front seats and the steering wheel. If you have an XI then you don't have sport suspension

Yea, I had 18" 162s before I upgraded. What about the lowering difference though? A guy is selling H&R race springs and he said coming from sport suspension, it was still a 1.8" drop.

if you get h&r race springs i would get koni yellow shocks because you will wear out the stocks shocks quick.. cause that drop will be really low.. but if you get h&r sports springs then you dont have get new shocks but its better if you do get them..

I actually bought a combo off someone here. A set of brand new eibach pro dampers, and then the h&r race which have about 3k miles.

Under my VIN, it says i have an M-sport suspension. is that the same suspension that comes with the sports package? or this that an additional option?

I went really fast and made a turn and didn't flip,...........haha ....... for real now. I have 18 stock rims with RFT, sports seats, red dakota leather, sport steering wheel, manual 6 speed on my 2008 e92. When I bought the car it said deluxe package but nothing about suspension that I remember. Don't feel too much body roll even when the car is sliding sideways/drifting. So does that mean I have sports suspension? I wish that could be verified somehow. some # in the VIN ?

if you give a dealer your VIN# they'll tell you all the options the car was ordered with.

or register your car at www.bmwusa.com and enter your vin# and it'll pull up your options, as well as some other pertinent info.

So I registered under BWMUSA.COM put the VIN in and the only thing I find about sport suspension is: (also it seems like the page doesn't load all they way so maybe the site is down or broken)

Under Selected Options I only see
* Sport Package
Sport seats

Under standard features I only see
*Sport suspension calibration

BUT NOTHING stating about sport suspension package. CRAP!

Does anyone know if all e92 Coupes come with sports suspension?

All I know is H&R race is ridiculously low, the front was pretty much tucked under the fenders. After getting my mtech bodykit, I had to switch - I now have KW V1 and raised it up a couple finger widths.
