WTB: 07-08 E90 335i, manual trans
So I just sold my Cobra and I'm looking to pick up another car fairly quick. A lifted jeep sucks for commuting. I'm pretty damn picky, so after looking at craigslist, autotrader, and cars.com for months, I've only found a few cars that really fit my bill. There is always something that makes me shy away from it. Now that the Cobra is gone though, I'll have time to actually go check out and drive some cars. I plan on keeping this one for a while, so I want to be completely happy with it, no compromising.
If anyone has one for sale or happens to see one that I somehow haven't found, feel free to post up. 2007-2008 335i sedan, must be manual trans and RWD -looking for silver, graphite, or white, in that order of preference -interior color should be black, terra, or saddle. I'd really like to have aluminum trim, but if I love the car otherwise, wood trim is ok -must have sport and premium package, cold weather isn't a must, but needs heated seats -comfort access would be nice, but isn't a huge priority, same with Nav (I just want it for easier ipod and bluetooth connectivity) -hoping for a CPO car since everything I'm looking at is already a few years old |

Hey Dale, I found my Z4 on Cars.com. I was pretty specific about what I wanted and found it locally by chance. Dealers with lease give ups had the best pricing over private selling. Just my opinion.

Good point. I actually just found one out by Dulles that was a leased car and the price on it is damn good. Graphite with terra/aluminum interior, 6 speed, ZSP, ZPP, heated seats. Doesn't have Nav or comfort access, but I'm probably willing to give those up for a good deal. It's got 32k miles and he wants $26k. If it's clean, I might be a BMW owner sooner than I thought.
I called BMW of Sterling and they said I can get a third-party warranty through BMW that is cheaper and better than a CPO warranty, so I'll probably look into that. Edit: Went to check out the car today. After test driving it, I did a once around and found a big scuff mark on the side of the rear bumper that was all the way through the clearcoat. No chance to buff out, so forgetting that car. Also, after fooling with the radio and bluetooth while test driving, I really want the idrive now. Last edited by dcorn; 04-22-2010 at 08:56 PM.. |
