How much does LP-640 SV cost I forget? The E90 already strikes a pretty good balance between handling and high speed stability IMO.
That's your opinion, you don't see me laughing at it. Do you?

That motor is way underpowered for a 2k10 vehicle costing mid 40's and topping 50 when optioned-up. 200 ft. lbs. For that price no direct injection is a joke.

32 is doable in a 335 under the right circumstances (complete highway 72mph cruise), 29 is easy.

Wiper settings that are persistent, and active suspension to counter the harshness of the RFTs, oh an throw in that great dash and trim levels from the 5GT... let some of those new goodies trickle down the line

Pricewise, that is just your opinion. You should see how much other country have to pay for these same exact cars. Maybe you should be shopping for a $32k car which is in your budget and not have such a high expectation.

How much they cost anywhere is not relevant to the American market. When we have G37's and big engined IS and TL models at very competitive prices, BMW should step it up a notch IMO.

Direct injection is a joke until BMW irons out the HPFP issues.

Got 2 nicks on my windshield too a few weeks ago and they are right at driver's eye level in front of me. Unfortunately some brown rock hit it so the nicks are brown and clearly visible.

^^ some good feedback from everybody ^^

what else I'd like:
-LED brakelamps, not LED turnsignals
-cruise control stalk that follows the same logic as the Steptronic (forward to slow down or downshift, pull back to speed up or upshift)
-less of that rubberized plastic interior

why don't you want LED turnsignals, but want LED brakelamps.

LED turnsignals are more of a visual gimmick but LED brakelamps would have an actual safety benefit (illuminates fractions of a second faster to alert other drivers)... as far as the LED turnsignals go.. i'm just thinking the driver would check their blindspot before switching lanes anyway ..

The high prices in other countries mostly reflect fees and taxes.

No, other way around. Push forward to speed up, pull back to slow down.

I hate the manualmatic setup in the BMW. I've never gotten used to the idea of shifting forward to slow down.

RPG launcher
Armor
Bullet proof windows
System like Kit in Night Rider
Gatorade fountain during the summer
Hot Cocoa maker during the winter
and last but not least a hot chic or man (your preference) that laughs at everything you say.

things to loose:

Come on, everyone knows that if you spring for armor plating, you have to go with RFTs. Stopping to change a flat while your in a firefight is bad ju ju.

Jeez, kids these days!

This I-6 was designed 5yrs ago, and with its composite block w/magnesium was a trend setter for lightness and performance. Plus, it cost $33k which is a whopping $7k-17k less than what you quoted.

I get 32mpg at 80mph steady cruise, 27-28mpg around town.
An automobile is about overall performance, not just straight-line times. When you can work an engine more and more often to extract more from an already sublime chassis, you don't need more grunt.

And Nissans (Infinitis) are no where near BMW in terms of overall refinement, solidity, and driving experience. They're fast, sure, and about the same price. But also larger and without the Teutonic feeling that only a German car can give you.

The smooth, buttery I6 that we've all come to know and love.

I also want a better AC system. Did I mention that the coupe's rear windows should open?

P.S. Stupid question, I know but Aren't regular tires cheaper for BMW? I mean how much to Run flats cost them? Run flats are considerably more expensive.
