Hi Folks, new to the forum. Not is UK but in US but you have a lot of knowledge here so hope you don't mind a post from across the pond.

Previous E46 owner till it was destroyed in a crash (rear end) but car worked as designed and probably saved my life. So on to my next BMW - 2010 E92 328i Coupe X Drive.

Ran into some electrical problems today think it might be alternator.

Hello, newbie here from Ni with my first BMW, it's a e91 335i touring Manual, had it about 18 months and 17k miles now, certainly an interesting ownership experience with several large items failing, such as Dsc, hpfp. Just waiting on my wastegate rattles to get worse before it goes back into BMW.... However bar that it's a great car. Having come from a Audi S6 and a few 9-5 aeros.

Hello,

I had a 2007 e90 325i m sport but it got stolen about 2 months ago. It was recovered about 2 weeks ago but waiting for insurance to get through with assessing the car. I'm here to ask some information on the car I had so I guess I will wait the 1 hour to post some new threads about it.

Thanks.

ICE advice (full iPhone and iPod control) for e92 330i May 2008

Hello to all,

I'm new to the forum and in the process of buying an e92 2008 330i that has bluetooth for a phone and professional radio and navigation.

I seem to have a habit of alternating between Audis and BMW's when changing cars, dating all the way back to 2002.

I've been driving a 2005 Audi A8 for the last 6 years and have had the in car entertainment system upgraded to support mobile phones (full phone book directory, recent calls, missed calls etc) and full iPod connectivity and control via the MMI interface (similar to iDrive). It already had the full Bose sound system, which is awesome and makes listening to my music collection while driving alone in the car something to look forward to.

As I will be using use the e92 for business trips, it is important for me to upgrade the ICE so I have full control of the phone (was done for phone use about 18 months ago and have learnt my lesson) and iPod via iDrive. Any other improvements are a bonus.

I've seen threads in the forum about being able to upgrade the whole system to later BMW specs and am keen to find out more (functionality achievable, cost and recommended installers). I like to keep my cars as manufacturer/factory spec as possible, at least visually.

Any help and pointers in the right direction are greatly appreciated. I'm based in Marlow (J4 of M40 and J8/9 of M4).

Talking Greetings from Up North !

Hi folks, I picked up a rather smart E93 325i (2007) a couple of months ago and have been doing a lot of reading since then to find out quite what I've got
It's a big leap from the E36 325i/328i I had a few years ago

Niggles sorted so far include a sticking rear caliper, plugs & filters changed, slow tyre leak fixed (who thought 18s with low profile tyres was a good idea for UK potholes ) and a couple of little things.

Still to do :
Fix intermittent ABS / cruise problem (not hopeful about this !)
Sort out rear light LEDs
Find & remove the ghost that keeps adjusting the drivers door mirror.
Find some sunshine & go play

Hi

Just checking into the UK forum. E91 325i in Titanium Silver, looking to upgrade the basic hifi like most people. Seems to be a bit of a minefield trying to work out how to combine amps, subs and speakers!
