Mods?
Just upgrading the Stereo via the PnP Blaupunkt, L7 Tweeters and SWS subs well trodden route i think. The other 2 cars supply the tinkering element the SL has a 220Hp Works engine and is more than enough to keep me playing at W/E's. Just been to see my new car as it arrived at the Dealer today - getting excited! |

Hi, I am a relatively new to BMW. Got my E90 M5 last November and the E46 M3 cab just before Christmas. Both are great fun to drive and more civilised than my single turbo Supra. The M3 is my first ever cab and I just love it. The top comes down when ever possible. The hard top has been used a few times, mainly very long (400) mile trips from Cambridgeshire to the Scottish highlands. The hard top does seem to stiffen the car slightly, the main advantage is less noise at higher speeds.
The M3 will probably stay standard, but the M5 needs more power.

My neighbour, Snakepit316, is a pseudo-newbie to the forum although he's been lurking for the last couple of months... I never knew he was browsing E90post until I bumped into him one day and he told me he was buying a 335i... He literally lives across the hall from me... small world!!
Anyway, he hasn't posted much here... actually, he's posted f-all !!! But he did put pics of his car up in the photo gallery, which unfortunately most of us UK guys don't frequent so often or so it appears. So, I hope he doesn't mind, but I've copied his post and reposted here - might entice him to post up a little more!!! Oh, and the 335i is a damn sight better than his old car!!!!! Quote:
