NEW MEMBER- joining E90post (long island)
Picking up my saphirre black 335i 4 door, with Terra interior, ipod, sport, premium and cold weather on Tuesday the 29th. I went to the dark side for a while and had a well modded Audi, but I'm back in business. This will be my third BMW, I had a HEAVILY modded 330i and a regular 328i in the past.
My first mods will be: A blacked out grill Dark CF Amber covers on the headlights Undeceided on what set of rims and tires looking to spend below 2000 (any ideas would help!!) then after 1500 miles, I will be getting a chip Looking forward to coming the meets and get the Mod Bug once again with BMW!!! |

As for the headlights, you should talk to Marc (mds82)...he has made actual Carbon Fiber overlays for covering the amber section inside the headlights....there are pictures floating around here of his work, and they came out excellent....you usually have to exchange your headlights in order to get a pair of CF ones, or you'd have to pay extra to get another set of headlights....he has done them in Silver as well, and we were also discussing doing red CF for my own car, but red CF was quite expensive and hard to find at the time, and with current things with the gf next year I will not be keeping my car  .LUX has become a popular mod amongst us E90s...Marc is also working on a set for the E92 angel eyes....dont know the progess on those (he brought a set to bear mountain, even in the prototype stage they were pretty good). Anything cheap as for wheels? Get General Tires, and anything replica lol...that will keep the cost down. As for a chip, its very hard to say with all the crazyness about the latest progman version and what not....the dealer has better ways now to find out now if youve been tampering with boost or not. Want to save up a bit, get Dinan..at least it comes with a warranty if the motor goes bye bye. And as for suspension...feel free to consult me because as the avatar says..im the resident E9X suspension installer around here |

A lil update, just put in an order for the OEM trunk spoiler painted black saphhire, also ordered a black front grille and black CF amber covers for the front lights through **********s.........the modding begins and I dont even have the car yet, lol
