Production Status to be completed May 5th

I ordered on April 30th, and production started may 2nd with an estimated completion on the 10th. Hopefully I don't miss that boat on the 14th...

I wonder if the car is completed on the 5th, it could make it on a ship in Bremerhaven on the 6th?

Is this impossible?

Thanks for the info.. my 330i has been sitting waiting for a ship, so I'm hoping it'll get on the May 5th one to CA. :-)

status update: released to a carrier and awaiting transport at port of exit. yay! hopefully it makes that May 6th boat so i can get my baby around the end of this month.

Just checked the 800 number and production completion date changed from May 5 to May 8, Does this mean anything. I hope there were no problems putting my car together. As far as shipping is concerned I wasn’t going to make it onto the May 6 ship anyway so it will probably not be shipped until the 14.

Just called the 800 number....

Said my car is completed and heading to the port of exit. Go baby go!!!! Get on the ship before it's too late!!!! lol

Anyone know how long it takes to get from the factory to the port?

what seems to vary is the time it waits to be loaded on a ship.

well if you're an east coaster and you're car is coming to New York...it doesnt really matter if you're getting on the may 6th or 9th ship they all arrive at the same time from may 21-23.

How do I know which ship my car will be on based on the date?
