WTB: Vinyl Reflectors E92

Hi everyone

I searched **********s and didnt find what I was looking for.

I want to cover up my amber reflectors. I would like to just put a vinyl overlay over top of it but I cant find anything. I typed it into google and all it brings up is the snap in snap out kind. I dont want that.

My car is Mineral White.

Xoxo

Think you'll need to cut them out yourself. Haven't seen vinyl overlays made for those. Of course, you can by the painted replacement inserts and install those yourself.

You're better off buying painted replacements than trying to have the originals painted. Many of the Vendors on this site carry them in all colors.

**********s has body painted reflectors- just got em for my 335, and had em on my 328. Love them, but I had someone else put them on, as removal and meticulous removal of the glue from the old reflectors is critical- and a major pain in the ass. Looks great though in the end!

Reviving this from the dead. Does anyone have a to-scale template of the reflectors for a 2009 E90 LCI? I have some pieces of tint and would like to try to make some overlays.

Just lay it on.. and trim it with an xacto knife with a new blade.

I can't see through the film and I'm hoping to do it without removing the reflectors.

Use a heat gun, it'll make a surround of the reflector on the edges and then cut accordingly. Or push it in a little with a thin trim tool while giving heat then cut between excess and piece that went in and you won't have to worry about scratching your paint.
