Proven FMIC, on the new N55?
Fresh out of the box.
In preparations for VISHNU's meth kit - FMIC with the same specs as the SPEARCO FMIC and CODE 3 Performance and DINAN FMIC. Some would say it's the CODE 3 fmic - I got it from Long so i'm call'n it different. core length: 22″ core height: 6″ core thickness: 6″ inlet / outlet size: 2.50″ total of 792 cubic inches (factory is 435 cubic inches) theoretically, it should fit the n55. I'm confident it'll fit. LTBMW is gonna put it on the lift, install it, I'll take some picts and document the process. It looks identical to the spearco fmic. The install has been documented already for the N54. Very little trim'n, that's the best part! 6MT shouldn't have a problem with the plumbing - 6AT i believe there's a work around because the discharge pipe touches the heat-exchanger. May have to cut and weld. Oh man, oh man. i love the fact that u don't have to trim all ur shroud behind the bumper and it's possible to install with the bumper on. check out the link - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91461 fmic bolted on and track'd - luving it. orginal shroud still in tack.

Jerry, bro - i love the specs on this fmic. Besides the HPF, this one's the chit. J2m - like shiv said they're gett'n there stock this week so if everything works out by end of week. this fmic should be beneficial - dyno will tell

u know it's all good - i was reading the GIAC vs PROCEDE thread - i see why u would be poke'n. for sure man, should be fun. i encourage members to dyno their mods. Quote:
last min. i changed my mind - it was more of the unknown for the N55 and it's benefits, pairing with other bolts-ons. There are a few guys running Helix, so i figured run something different. This system ran well for the N54 so why not the n55. Plus, the price on this system is awesome!

yea, thx... I've been talking with Pepe. If this can be installed w/o cutting and without removing the front fascia I'd be very interested to know. Also... PM some pricing info....... Can't wait to see some install pics... oh yea... DYNO BEFORE INSTALL. (please)
