Vargas is still selling these brackets? I have sent I believe 3 separate emails to them inquiring about picking up this bracket all in the last month, Tony always says he will check on stock and get back to me, and never does! Has anyone else had any luck getting this part from Vargas?

yeah, that's it George....I guess I didn't look very hard.

Dmacc,

I guess I caught Tony at a good time....he can be pretty busy with the stg II and III turbos. He responded to a post I had originally set up and I purchased it right away. He had responded to questions I had prior to and the day of the install.

He's pretty active on b!mmer boooost dot com (had to spell it out because of the competition monitoring ) in the N54 section so you might be able to get through to him there.

I also called and spoke to the secretary at VTT as well. That might be an option for you also.

so you didn't get it to attach to the turbo housing?

I made a bracket when I replaced my turbos. Even with the stock air box it did not pull up as tight as I wanted. I think the rear bracket may get slightly bent removing the turbo. It is simple to make and works well. It took a couple of tries to get the tension right, so I had to take it on and off a few times. I would recommend either make or buy one from VTT if your turbos are going to be replaced

Will the Vargas rear turbo bracket work on a stock inlet/turbo combination, or only with aftermarket?

Ah. Missed it. Thanks much.

Also, these appear to be a potential solution. Anyone running them?
