Canon is really going after the video market.

No false modesty with those folks. Geez.

Nice equipment, though. I guess.

The D800 might be sharper... but the 5D3 literally blows it our of the water with its high ISO capabilities:

At lower ISOs there seems to be ISO inaccuracies and/or metering problems. Was the exposure the same with all cameras at each ISO?

I've noticed that when setting the EV to 0 for any given shot between the two cameras, the 5D3 always underexposed, and the D800 always overexposed the shot.

Thanks! There will be a final product. Just didn't want to spend more than 5 min sampling some clips.

so, this promo is a bit long, but they wanted to somehow show the full 16-station retread process in a time that i advised should be 60 seconds. their reference video was some 9-minute long bore narrated onscreen by some tard. i tried to fit it into 120 seconds, but it wouldn't happen.

Nicely done, rodi. Now you need a video of the retread flying apart and smacking a BMW in the windshield.

(Happened to me.)

oh, and the motion tracking on that blank truck door for the digital logo took at least two hours itself. frame-by-frame tracking of a featureless white door.
