Yes I believe so. Its the N53 engine if I'm not mistaken. The same used in the 330i, but detuned, lacking the intake manifold and exhaust of the latter.

It sounds great, tuneful and not too loud

Forgot to ask but is it necessary to remove the negative battery post
for this intake, if so I'll need to do this? I looked at the battery and the
negative terminal was strange looking so I left it alone.

Thanks,
Wig

It would be the safe choice to disconnect the battery. I didn't do it though for my own install. But I made sure the car is in idle mode before I started the install. To do that, open the hood, leave the/a door open and press lock on the remote. After that wait a good 15 mins before you start working on the install. Someone posted this procedure for the steering wheel install.

cant wait to get mine, i order it 2 days ago( only the exhaust ) ! im curiouse how much my local dealer will ask for instalation, but there are a lot of exhaust shops in my town and i think ill just install it there, they might do it better than dealer because they work all day wtih exhausts.
intake sounds good too, but for 750 euro how much it costs., ill pass for now.

The exhaust does have a crackling sound when engaged in a gear at higher revs, but letting off the gas.

Can anyone tell me if the 335i version has that crackling sound? I love it.

To get the popping sound on a 335i, u would do a muffler delete and add a glasspak muffler, that will produce a very similiar sound
