Brake Reset not Working!

I’m baffled. Prior to the brake job, I was getting the amber alert that my rear pads were approaching minimums (240 miles left according to i-Drive Service readout). Once I completed changing the rotors and pads, I drove for roughly 100 miles with no errors or alerts, but the Rear amber alert was, of course, still there and counting down. That’s when I attempt to re-set the CBS using the BT with no effect. Tried several times. Then tried using the cars Service menu and the BC switch. Prior to my first attempt with the BC, the front read about 23,000 and Rears about 140 miles of life remaining. When I performed the reset for each front and rear they both now read “miles _ _ _ _ _ _ and Reset with check mark. That then caused the Red BRAKE text and RED Car on Lift symbol. I reverted to the 1.8.6.0 BT software which now shows 100% on both sets of pads, but the Car's still showing the RED and "miles _ _ _ _ _ . Tried several time to no avail.

No fault codes present. I changed the front Sensor but not the rear.

Any suggestions?

Usually if the pad life won't reset it's because there is a fault for one of the pad sensors. Replace both and try a reset again.

Known issue that some firmware won't reset front without reset back first

There is only two sensors. One on the driver side front and the second is on passenger rear.

You need to reset with new sensors.
