Yea buddy. Black car, 110 degree summers + single turbo top mount gets a bit toasty. I can see the heat escaping from the vents when stopped at a light!

RG it's been almost two years since your install .. Can you share your feedback on reliability, maintenance issues, how many miles you have since put on the car with the ST, and any other information you want to share with the group. I am thinking about going with the ST in the near future. Thanks

I'd be interested to hear too. I am on engine #2 because of DI failure.

I have a question also. You said you run around 21-23 as your daily driver. Is that on Pump gas or e83? I recently went with PS2 high flow, the most we could get safely was around 18... I made 477 AWHP on that and about to get methanol 50/50 this week

Can you post a
dyno graph or video?

Thanks

This was a pretty conservative Dd tune. I’ve actually read others who made around 450

I believe that is the advantage of ST over TT .. You can run 21-23 or more without stressing the turbos hence why I am looking into ST upgrade .. I want to be able to run bigger HP numbers with more reliability. Hoping he would chime and give us an update on his reliability of his DR ST

Sorry for delay guys, usually on other forum (rhymes with shmool shtreet)

Car is bullet proof, about 20k on the kit. Have just been delving in to the lesser common mods, essentially just for fun since the car has all the major work done. Will be checking thread a bit more often as I thought I would get tagged if any Q's popped up.

Catch me on the other forum if any direct Q's for quickest responses

I run E50, twin wallys and PI now but have not turned up the boost. Car is fst as fk and a blast to drive so not a huge priority. Reliable toy. Never dyno'd but may make some time to eventually. Car is putting in work in autoX this year but will evolve to full track car by the end of the year.

Thanks for the update! Ill check out the other forum for sure!

Nice to know you have 20K miles and still running strong! Now I want this kit more than ever!

Do you run any custom tune or your typical tune like JB4 and/or MHD? Did you install it yourself or did you have a shop install it? Any recommendations do's and don'ts for first timer like myself? Thank you in advance for all your feedback!

Custom motiv tune using their boost box. Flash only. Not a fan of piggys.

Yea installed myself on jack stands. When I bought the car I was barely able to change the kidney grills. With the right tools and an occasional helping hand it's not too difficult.
If you want to tackle it yourself start a thread on other 4em and many, including myself will help you as you go.

Glad you’re having good luck with it too. The DocRace kit has been good to me, I have no complaints. IMO, if you’re going to turn PSI up much more I’d recommend upgrading your injectors if they’re old. I was running ~32PSi and had #6 cut which caused a super knock condition.

Hi guys- I'm interested in reliability of the Single turbo route- My stockers are just starting to rattle now, at 151.5k miles. I'm looking for the car to be my daily for another few years, and I'm not looking for any crazy power. I commute about 20k miles a year at the moment. I'd prefer to keep that everyday- drivable torque surge at low RPM, but I don't even know enough about single turbos to know it that's possible. With recent price hikes of stock turbos, I can't really justify putting another set of stockers in there....

Why not just a $999 rebuild set. If you do it yourself then you will be under budget. If you do single, then it will cost more and you need more things that will increase cost.
