Great story - Must READ!
So yesterday, Matt@Camber-toe sends me a text message asking if i can bring my car in Saturday (today) so he could take a look at my KW V3's for another customer. He just wanted to take a "quick look at something". So I told him sure why not. So I tell my fiance that we have to make a quick stop at Matt's shop in the morning before we do anything. She complains a little asking "why does he have to look at the car for?", "theres nobody else he could look at?" (typical female questioins). So i tell her "no babe, he wants to look at mine. whats the big deal?". So we go stop by. Matt takes my car and pulls it into the shop and pops my hood. He then walks into his office and comes out with a box and says to me "your girlfriend wanted me to throw a bunch of wires in your car for you". And I look at the wires and it was a JB3!!! surprise surprise!! turns out she'd been texting Matt all week about installing a JB3 for me as my birthday gift! (todays my birthday). Sooooooooo yeah...... THATS IT!! I'm now a JB3er!! After install, which took maybe 10 mins, Matt and I went for a spin and WOW can you feel the difference right away!! I drove the car for at least 50 Miles today and it adapted so great to the JB3, the drive only got better as the longer i drove it and it adapted. Right now I'm only running Map 3 to be on the safe side as its BLAZING HOT outside and I have no other supporting mods for now... Intake and FMIC to come next! well actually, HID fogs are next weekend. But you know what I mean...
Matt, your customer service is awesome. My girl had nothing but great things to say about how patient and good you were with explaining and getting back to her on everything she needed and wanted to know. Thanks again. and P.S. the asian dude with the e46 M3 had never been to your shop. I put in some good words for you and told him to stick with going to Camber Toe. :happy anim:: happyanim::happya nim::h appyanim::happyan im: |

Dam that is literally a "cool story bro" just installed mine last friday but for some reason the data logged only 9.5 psi on map3? i thought its supposed to be at least 14 psi if all the conditions are met.

It's been ridiculously hot and humid around here lately. I've seen 12-13 in cooler weather on mine.

LOL
Thanks for all the comments and whoever wished me a happy bday! and Matt... LMAO@+1 (inside joke) as far as her being a "keeper", I did say she was my "fiancé", which means she HAS a ring on her already! I drove the car alllllllll day today from the Bronx, to L.I. (Roosevelt Field Mall), to Queens, back to the Bronx, and let me tell you, this car is SO much fun to drive. I gave it gas a few times and it amazes me. P.S. I forgot to mention she bought it with the USB cable. Matt installed that into my glove box as well. I still need to buy the BT scanner tho |
