Rhapsody Ibiza WiFi Audio Device (by Haier) - USB Compatible?
Anyone else have Rhapsody's Ibiza WiFi audio device? It is really one of the coolest things I've ever had, but I don't think its compatible w/ the BMW USB hookup. I have a non-iDrive 2008 328i. Has anyone been successful with this?

You should be fine with USB. Not fine with Ipod adapter. Just try it out. You won't fry anything.

If you already have one, go ahead and try it. Couldn't hurt.
That said, I don't think it'll work they way you want it to... Rhapsody subscription music is encrypted so I wouldn't expect it to be accessible over USB mass storage. If you put unencrypted audio on it over the USB link, I'm sure it'll work just fine... but if that's all you want you can probably find a cheaper option. Please let us know if I'm wrong though! |
