KW Releases iPhone App for Remote Control of DDC ECU Coilovers

With the push of a button’ the driver’s set-ups can also be shared with friends via Email,” said KW’s Product Manager Johannes Wacker. Up to five separate setups can be stored at any one time. The actively controlled KW DDC coilover Plug & Play compatible with the onboard electronics and adaptive chassis control of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan (F30). The driver can also choose the driving experience switch between the three BMW-driving modes "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport +", the gain considerably by the adaptive KW coilover momentum. During installation, the series against the shocks assembled KW coilovers in "inox-line" stainless steel finish will be replaced. looks similar to what Tein had some years ago with an optional EDFC kit that allowed for remote shock adjustments via a little electronic panel mounted in your dash. you could select from a few pre-programmed memory settings as well.
using a smartphone app instead of a remote panel is a pretty nice touch though. |
