Hey guys just got a tint ticket, the cop measured my window in front of me, first measured 26%, then jumped to 29%.. in front of me. Cop even verbally told me u have 26% tint, and then on the ticket wrote 25% tinted windows.

Is this a basis for dismissal? Not only did the machine he used say 26% first, then jump to 29%.. What he measured and verbally told me was written incorrectly on the ticket.

But you're still in the illegal limits so either way you would still have to pay.

70% is the legal limit for the the front two windows and rear two.

Yup, wishful thinking since most mistakes end up a dismissal. Thought I could argue his machine wasn't working or the cop didn't even know how to operate the machine or read the values correctly. His % numbers did jump around even after leaving it on the window for 10 seconds, plus it rained earlier my windows were dirty as hell.
