I think once Turbo upgrades come out for this car, it will probably kill the majority of the animosity on the forum between people. Or just create something new for people to argue about, lol.

Lol - you should really put Uncle Shiv on ignore if he bothers you that much. Yes, he never met a technical arguement he didn't like to turn into a competitive dig - but the information he provides is sometimes valuable in learning about the operating aspects of our cars. Once you build a 'Shiv Translator' like the rest of us, it makes reading his posts much more tenable.

This is the most bizarre thread i've ever seen on any forum.

I feel like i'm watching the Oxygen network. I have V3 and I like it. I don't know Shiv, don't need to meet Shiv, don't need to defend Shiv, and don't really care what people say about Shiv. If he's an opportunist for selling enough of his product to drive around a lambo while I drive a 3 series, then good for him. I thought that was just called "capitalism" but whatever. But to say that if a guy were drowning, you'd walk right by is pretty effed up.

Shiv made my car faster, so thanks. I used Terry's guides for a couple DIYs so thanks for that too. But anyone who has some sort of emotional investment in a couple of guys doing car parts has some extreme issues.

oh gees, this kind of things has been going on for ages when it comes to guys their cars and modifications....

It is no different than the discussion between hooker or MT headers, or Holly and Carter Carbs, and the lists goes on and on. I think most of you are not old enough to remember those discussions.

In the end it does not matter since not all the best technology bubble to the top only the ones that has the better marketing machine behind it and those fouls who believe the hype. Remember best selling does not always mean best product.
