Exhaust Tip Sensor?

If I were to get a new exhaust or exhaust tips......what do I do with the sensor that is attached to the right exhaust tip? Or is it irrelevant...........thanks in advanced.

Its not a sensor but a flap

you will have to disconect it and properly pug the end of the tube that is left on the car
