Exactly thank you. Right now insurance companies can't tell the difference between a regular driver or a "enthusiast" they can only charge us premiums based on assumptions of the car we bought. As soon as we tag ourselves as enthusiasts and cars that break warranty and being experimented on the insurance company that is mandated insurance will write what ever price they feel like raping us with. A vanity plate is not a classification and even that comes with several laws that if you fart in the wrong direction they take away your "privilege" to have one.

I like what your trying to do but we gotta consider the big picture.

In the recession of the mid 90's the state of CT legislature passed a law to end front plates on all vehicles in CT to save money. The police pissed and moaned for years. They felt front plates are necessary in order to track law breakers. They finally got there way. We now have front plates again. I wish you luck, but I doubt you'll get to far.

Got tired of no plate tickets so I just made a custom place bracket using rare earth magnets. Holds up to speeds in excess of triple digits. Pull it off whenever I want to go plate less.

I never said it was me. I've never gotten pulled over for asshole driving or a front plate. my buddies get pulled over all the time. Life tip by the way, don't be a dick to people you don't know. It goes a long way

Definite yes from me, but since i moved from queens to long island, i haven't been bothered about the front plate being missing, lol but still would be nice to know when I'm in the city i wouldn't have to worry about tickets.

almost 6 months with no front plate, live in brooklyn and work in oceanside.
i got a ticket last week in oceanside while it was parked.
