ill just install my damn blubs that i bought

I say just go for it.

1. As long as they do not screw up your wiring
2. $80 is not really that much cash considering your other options
3. If you really do not like them...return them and put your original halogens back on.
4. If they burn out....you know, its likely that you will trade this sucker in for a new BMW with Xenons before they burn out.

That is my opinion

(how did it go with washer fluid?)

I have a feeling that the bulb housing socket is gonna melt if you install them aftermarket as i seen it happened to me and others... don't risk that using fake ass bulbs..

Actually...I am in the area this weekend...but I have never done this kind of swap before. From what I have read around the board, it sounds like its a low difficulty DIY and I would be willing to experiment in my car...but not on someone elses.

Take pics of the final look! Is he going to do it this weekend??

Long came and installed my lights. They look better than the halogens, even though you all think i paid too much. And they actually shine far.. So all in all, it was a learning experience to next time always consult long before doing anyting to my car. Thanks!

congrats....no stealership...and I bet after watching you have a pretty good idea of how its done! and it may even be gratifying to know you were part of some customization of your own ride.
