Sirius reciever PN?

Hey, I've been looking around for a few days at retrofitting my car with sirius radio. I've got a 2007 335i sedan, and am looking for the part number for the sirius reciever. The car is "sirius prepped."

Thanks for the help!

Check realoem, there are a lot of part numbers.

Rumor is you will no longer be able to order them new from your dealer, so get it fast!

Wow, that website is awesome. But I see that there is three seperate part numbers for the receivers. Do any of you know if any of the three receivers will work?

Call the dealer with the last 7 digits of your VIN and they can tell you which one.

It is not as strict as you think, and I know from experience.
Pretty much any Sirius module with a single coaxial connection would work in your 2007.

Of course, if from a 3 series...

Actually, no. I bought a used one from a 3-series that even RealOEM said would fit. Turned out that since I have the "professional" radio that came with Logic7, the connector is different. Luckily, I was able to return the used one and buy a new one from the dealer for just a few $ more.

What I meant was, if your car's connection is single coaxial (FAKRA) then any module with the same single coaxial connection would work (later models).

If, your connection is the double barrel coaxial (older 3-series), then you would need the older modules with the double barrel. I do not think there are technical distinctions between the modules other than the connectors they use.

I think that is what you're talking about.

Actually, my coaxial cable fit just fine. It was the power and MOST interface that was different.
