Upgrading HiFi with Individual Audio Parts

I'm thinking of upgrading the speakers in my HiFi system (the system with no center dash speaker but it does have tweeters and a seperate amp in the trunk). This is a 2010 E90 LCI sedan.

Can I buy the Individual Audio speakers and just replace the existing HiFi speakers. For example the individual audio door speakers are here:

Are individual audio speakers 2 ohm?

Or would I be better off using the BSW upgrade?

Or I'm really looking for something SIMPLE for under about US$700.

It looks like for that price I can either upgrade the speakers or buy an MS-8.
