Total NEWBIE!!!! Please help
I am pressed for time.
I just bought an 07 335i today, going to pick it up on Sat, then drive it 15 hours!! I need some music. It has the aux input/IPOD/USB adapter according to my local SA and the dealer I am buying it from. I have a couple options: My Black berry has an 8GB card in it (I will be using it for NAV though, not sure if that creates a problem) I have a 2gb Sansa Disk (I have the double male cable to use headphone plug) I have a 2gb flashdrive thumb drive deal. Can anyone give me some easy advice on how to get this to work. Thanks!!! |

All e90s have aux input at least. If one of your device has headphone jack, you need headphone extension cable and hookyour mp3player to the aux jack under armrest. That's the easiest way to get music from external device. As far as Iphone, bluetooth integration, your miliage may vary depending on option on your car.

Not sure (I only have the aux in) - but I recommend eventually getting the Blackberry Bluetooth Stereo Gateway. Plug it into the Aux, power it from a power adaptor - synch and then you can listen via Bluetooth w/o always plugging in your player. You do need a player that supports Bluetooth Stereo profile, such as an iPhone. I do this all the time to stream music; an added bonus is when my Nav program tells me to turn it overrides the music.
