2010 335i front wheels not centered side to side

1 week into ownership of this car, I was looking at adding spacers and noticed the left front wheel sticks out towards the fender considerably more than the right. The car tracks fine, no pull, no uneven tire wear, no accidents reported to CarFax and digging around, I see no signs of any body/chasis/suspension damage.

Anyone else ever notice anything like this? I assume this is not common, couldn't find anything online and with all the wheel/tire/spacer fitment threads I've been looking at, surely I would've come across something.

Thanks.

Show us some photos of both front wheels. Take the photos directly facing the wheel and from the opening of the front doors so we can see a perspective

Have you taken the wheels off and measured?
I think they have either put a rear wheel on the front or you have a mis matched wheels.

I had that happen on an e36 I bought with staggered wheels.
They mounted one front on a rear wheel and one rear on a front wheel.
DOH!!!!

Yes, I thought that might've been the case but I checked and they are both 8" fronts.

One possiblity I can think of is that the alignment is way out of spec and the right wheel has more negative camber than the left. Tires are wearing evenly, though.

I do not think that you can know if tires are wearing out evenly or not after one week of ownership unless something is really way off. Check the alignment and check the wheels part numbers or at very least the wheel offset. You can measure this with out removing the wheels. Could be aftermarket wheel, same look, same width, different offset.

Valid point, it's too soon to judge tire wear. I am taking it in tomorrow, I'll have them put it on the lift and go over all of the steering/suspension components and do an alignment.

Switch wheels from one side to another and watch if the problem is the same
