Quality Clear Bra Installation in DC/MD/VA

Just had my new e90 covered with ventureshield by Raja @ euro auto concepts. Highly recommended. He was even patient with me when I was late to pick up the vehicle. The install looks phenomenal.

$1000.00 for Clear Bra? Are you fucking nuts?

Call Joe DeRoche at Richmond Roadblock. He did an EXCELLENT job on my oem e90 front bumper for $200.00. I'm not sure what he charges for bumper/fender/hood job, but I'm quite sure it's less than 1g.

IMO Cliff at Auto Armour is the best in the Metro area. He will do it for less that that.

Nobody has brought up the most important point - the price is totally dependent on WHAT is being covered and HOW its done. I'd pay $1k for a custom cut job with wrapped edges, which is actually an unbelieveable price if we're talking about the entire front bumper, headlights, side mirrors, and full hood.

Most places only use pre-cut kits which is obviously cheaper and leaves edges exposed. I actually wouldn't recommend a DIY; let someone with a lot of experience install them. The better installers will warranty their work and take the time to prep the paint correctly so you won't have issues with edges unraveling.

Raja does an outstanding job using both precut and custom cut pieces depending on the job.

The trick is not only slapping the material on, but also preparing the surface properly - something I've never seen a dealer do properly.

You'd need to talk with Raja to get a quote on what he would charge for your specific desires but, IIRC, he did the front bumper, partial hood and fenders, door sills, splash zones on fenders, mirror caps and the top of the rear bumper (to protect from scrapes getting stuff in and out of the trunk) for substantially less than $1k.

It was a good day and a half of work.

I got a quote from Raja and it was not substantially less than $1k...not doubting his craftsmanship, but it was too expensive for me.

Cliff at Auto Armour custom cuts his sheets and he wraps the edges. He is less than $1k. That is an insane price, unless of course he is doing a full hood and fenders. Cliff even removes the grills - see my link above. I saw Raja's work on that Lambo, not to good if you ask me. Just say'n...

It was covered perfectly, hood, front fenders, bumper(top & bottom), fogs, head lights, mirrors, 4 door edge guards.
It's been 2 1/2 years now and holding up prefectly.

Clear Bra Instal

My ride is in the shop getting repaired after I got in a accident. While its in there am having them instal a clear bra seeing how it will be all new paint. for $800. Entire bumper, head and fog lights, about 12-15 inches up the hood and covers that same distance on the fenders, also covers the mirrors. I did ask if they used prefab kits and they said yes... but they do warrenty the work. I will post photos when I pick it up next week.
