Installing inside kick plates?

How the hell do you fit the inside kick plates..... it is fooking impossible!?

I have wasted over an hour of my life trying to get these bastards back in!

The trouble is with the sill..... you can't get the panel underneath!?

Is there a technique to it?

I was trying to get the suedy sill to sit on top of the inner plate..... but the plate goes on top of suede sill!

It's like a 30sec job & I wasted an hour!

I had to remove them when installing the alpine harness.

Garage List
Lol. The suedy bit is the door rubber that covers the lip between the sill trims and all the way around the door entry. The inner door sill trim is call an Entrance Strip. The part number is under the panel, but both sides are the same item.
