ARMA Big Brake Kit

Is anyone running these? I found no results for "ARMA" in this section. I know they are pretty big in the supercharger scene, but I can't find many reviews on their brakes. They look nice, but I want to make sure they are reliable.

why would you be willing to settle for a product that hasn't ever made into in this country yet?

Why do you think I started this thread? I am asking about them before making a decision. There are definitely people here that have bought them, so I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "made into this country yet".

I'm definitely aware of the other options, but competition is always a great thing. That being said, I agree that they aren't popular, but big brake kits in general aren't that popular, either.

there's 1 guy in Germany that I know using those BBK and RB turbos. There was a thread made about his incident with the brakes and how they resolved it...check the old threads for more info.

my friend had a quote from them while back ago, sure they are very inexpensive with even 8pistions kit. i remembered the price list for E9x are less than $2800 for both front and rear. but not too many reviews on them in the nation nor not too many people having this kit yet.

I remember something about a brake kit, but I didn't think it was ARMA. Nothing came up in this section.

The fact that it's that cheap is why I wanted to ask first. As much as I didn't want to spend nearly $6k on Brembo or Stoptech, I know better than to just jump on something that's half the price.

I wish I remember what thread that was again, something about the rotor cracking or falling apart.

I think you are referring to enrita's thread about Alcon BBK. Yeah, they had cracking issues. Perhaps you are confusing ARMA with Alcon...

Yea, it was Alcon. I wasn't mixing up the name, I just couldn't remember who it was - I thought it was Rotora.

Any updates? Got something back from them price wise and they are considerably less than the "big" brake kits. I'm looking for a cosmetic upgrade (no fake covers), but don't like how the logo looks a little ricey.

If this is the same ARMA that sells supercharger kits for the 328 etc then I would stear clear. Check out the ARMA supercharger thread in the "NA (non turbo)..." performance sub forum.

The main reason I started this thread...

The fact that no one has replied leads me to consider other options.

Interesting, good info for anyone wanting more history. I have no further updates to this, and I don't anticipate following up.
