I have a service overdue light on for the brake fluid and real shortly my engine oil needs to be replaced too. For the brake fluid, the service light is just to replace it right? How long do you think it can go unreplaced? I may not have time to get it in within in the next week and a half. Just wanted to see if there's any danger for not replacing it when the alert comes up.

I'm in Mira mesa and I've been told the better dealership near me would be BMW of Encinitas, is that a good consensus?

thanks

As long as you're topped off you can go another week or two. With an '07, assuming you're out of warranty, just go to an independent shop for a brake fluid flush and an oil change. It should be significantly less money than a dealership.

Not CVR though... (Pacific Raceways in WA)

But if we want to keep it in SoCal, here's the Tight Side on Pally (FWIW, I don't condone this sort of riding anymore).

I am CPO and that expires in August. I'm pretty sure my oil change should be covered. Should the brake fluid be covered as well?

CPO has extended warranty, not extended maintenance.
non of oil or fluid will be cover with CPO.

Oh that's right. I did purchase an extended maintenance plan for the brakes. I thought I did something for oil changes too. That's a bummer, I thought for sure I'll be getting in an oil change or something before the extended warranty is up

I like it. I think it sounds better with these new resonators on. Video is probably not doing it justice though.

Thanks for the heads up. I just double checked my purchase agreement and I did buy the extended maintenance warranty. Whew! Gotta put it to good use before it expires.

Thanks! You've got nice track plastics, mine are just primer gray, I'm jealous. That was my first time on a track on a motorcycle, and it's the only way I'll go back on a track, cars just don't compare(I used to autocross and hit up Laguna Seca once when I lived in Monterey). The video is CVR during the same day as that picture, unless by Jackson you meant a person. And if Jackson is a person and happens to be the guy in blue I was stuck behind that entire time, well . I've never ridden palamar, too many horror stories of "Initial D" type race-car drivers and bikers who think they are Valentino Rossi, both types crossing double yellows on blind corners. I don't want to deal with that level of idiocy, although the road looks nice!

San Diegans!
So I called over to Euro Auto Spot to get a quote for coilover installation and they said $300 and the same price goes for another suspension location in East San Diego. Do you guys know of any other trustworthy shops that will do it for cheaper? Thanks in advance!

You could contact Mike Migs (migs motorsports) or if you don't mind going to Lakeside, Pierre at Woodside Automotive and Smog is awesome.
