Scammed on eBay!!!
Just when I thought I was having a good day I get a email from eBay saying a buyer has opened a dispute over a phone I sold 43 days ago.
Its my own fault I'm just to nice. I sold a phone to a guy in Estonia for £200 as he only paid £8 for postage I didn't get the item tracked, he seemed genuine enough. He is now saying 'where is the phone'. He deals with phones all day long I have checked his feedback. I would honestly believe the guy if I didn't read his feedback. He trys this scam once a month gets full refund and leaves negative feedback, fantastic. I am now -£200 in my PayPal account. I need to make this guy suffer 2 wrongs in this situation make a right. This is my Karma I'm a genuine guy but I will not be ripped off. |

That's really bad, I'm hearing these stories all the time now.
I guess the lesson here is never send anything sold on eBay without tracking, even if it's only Recorded mail to prove it's been signed for. Hope you get it sorted. |

Yeah I know might as well just put £200 in his account now save hassle on eBay.

Sorry but if you didn't insure the delivery I don't see what you can do.
I'd never sell anything costing more than £50 even without a tracking number, letalone £200. Lunacy. I hope you sort it out but when it comes down to it, tracked deliveries are offered for a reason.

You have his address?
Sen him an envelope full of your own shit, on a weekly basis. It won't help you get your 200 sobvs or phone back (and will ultimately cost you more money) but there's nothing you can do about that. You may as well get some enjoyment out of the situation.

Thing to learn with ebay is I never ship to Europe as 7/10 it ends up with the buyer stating he never recieved the item, I only ship to the UK and Southern Ireland as I have postive dealings there.
Sorry to hear about this though dude hope you get it sorted. |

Very very annoying 'feature' of the paypal/ebay collective. Happened to me once about 2.5 years ago.. .The way i got them back.... i added them to favourites, some months later they posted something on ebay of about 2.5x the value, using my parents ebay account i purchased said item and then repaid the 'lost in post favour'. After some *uck ups by city link, for the second time, not being able to prove it was signed for by me i got the money via paypal.
2 wrongs defiantly make it right in this case I know a few people that have been stung by this over the past few years. |

Get and empty box, take a dump in it then fill with packing and then send it to him express delivery.
Hopefully when he receives it he'll dive straight in wondering what this important package is.

By the way I am still 100% for you shitting in a package and sending it him, or scamming him back.
I'd also +1 the suggestion to buy something off him from another account, send it to a business address. Deny all knowledge of having recieved it and do the exact same thing to him. Ideally make it something you do actually want, of course - juuust in case Paypal don't let you get him back as easilly as they let him screw you..

The other half sold a set of red stuff pads for the type r. Sent them signed for recorded. Don't think the guy scammed her but thing was they never arrived apparently. Of course PayPal refunded him and she had to take it up with the post office and apparently they werent even signed for so even this service ain't worth a shit either. The insurance claim is still ongoing.

Thinking about this further (yes, I am a vindictive c*nt, so this sort of shit bugs me intensely) what other details do you have for this guy? Email address? Mobile number? Surely you're happy to publish this and let us all do our worst....

eBay has completely gone to shit. Any dispute they find in favour of the buyer, return their funds and don't even give the seller a chance. I tend to avoid it for selling stuff now.
