Clutch slip or OEM dv's failing?

Problem has seemed to disappered, I Have not modified anything since the problem started. MAP1,2 and 7 with meth seem to hold fine between shifts now

Would like some people to chime in on where this problem is coming from. It happens on hard shifts 1-2 or 2-3. Iall hit the gear then the RPMS and also the speedo will move accordingly yet their is no pull.It feels like clutch slip yet i tested the clutch numerous times ( 40mph,6th gear,WOT) and it holds fine all the way to 4k.

Its hard to explain but its the same feeling and sound when you slam a gear and the tires spin erratically, yet their is no pull.

Its really apparent when iam running 16+psi and meth, I shut meth off and ran 13 and it wasn't so bad yet the car just does not feel right.

Any suggestions?

If you want to check your clutch, from a dead stop put it in 4th gear and if youre able to move without stalling the you need a new clutch. If you do stall then your clutch is fine.

Let me guess...it happens worse when you shift the quickest.
It's most likely throttle closure and some tuners refer to this as bog.
Your clutch might be slipping but I doubt it if you don't see the RPMs jump.
The higer boost you are running, the more likly throttle closure will happen.
This is one of the reasons tuning this car is so hard.

yes Mr.5 the faster i shift the worst it is, Take it from me i KNOW what bog is but this is not BOG its much different its the same symptoms as clutch slip without the clutch slipping....Very odd.

No timing dips either, the whole way through 3/4th gear iall start off around 9 then gradually climb to 12 around 6300rpms.

It's not about timing in gear its about timing during the shift and the initial punch of the next gear.

I understand the benefit of it, but would it correct the problem?

The whole point of the CDV is to delay the clutch (ie make it slip more) when the clutch is let out too quickly.

You're saying when you try and shift quickly, you get clutch slip. I think the CDV is a likely cause.

The CDV would totally cause a delay.
That's the fricken name of it...Clutch Delay Valve.
You can let out the clutch so fricken quick but the CDV will slow down the fluid to prevent the pressure plate from clamping quickly.

a fellow member is having the same problem as me and it seems to be coming from the flywheel. From what i understand it heats up doesn't grip as well as its supposed to especially when your running alot of power.

First thing that comes to my mind is, its very obvious when i run 16+psi and meth but not so obvious when i lower the boost and shut meth off.

However how i could warm up the flywheel hot enough so that on the first WOT of the day it slips?!?!?.

I would start with the CDV.
It's so easy to take out.
Don't bother with the modified CDV. Just take it out.

Iam definitely going to take the CDV out to see if that helps in any way.

Also do some logs to check out timing, But IMHO i think their is a mechanical problem and nothing to do with timing.
