Whats the difference between the kit on effaxs pictures and tischers?
Cylindric vs. Plate filter. Is this Euro E90 vs. US?

Moreover I think, it should be enough to replace the original filter element with the performance one (which must be available as a spare part for perf. intake owners) to achieve some improvement in sound & performance. The rest of the kit is non functional and pure cosmetic...

By simply changing the filter alone is not going to yield any difference in sound. No, the rest of the kit is not just cosmetic, I'm sure it changes the volume of the enclosed airbox vs stock

for those wondering, the stock intake for the euro cars already have a cylinder filter. if i remember correctly i think its cuz they have less strict regulations or soemthing.

Subscribing -- I'm interested to hear others' thoughts on this once they try this on our US cars. FWIW, the other thread was Euro E92 325xi, wasn't it? The BMW performance exhaust sounds really nice on that other thread, IMO.

because the geometry of the airbox and the inlet that leads to the airbox have been revised to increase the volume of air and also the airflow.

NA engine = very little gain if any. It's mostly for the aesthetics, the look and sound.

To pull a number out of my ass, I'd bet the intake + exhaust gives you some marginal gain, say 10 HP combined... if that. But based on the videos, they sound incredible. And OEM means no loss of warranty coverage.

Yeah... I was just curious because the Injen intake actually makes some power, so I was hoping this might do the same thing. :P
