e92-Lighting Issue

All,

I was under the impression from the forum posts that buying things from e92-lighting wasn't like buying from Duke Dynamics....

I purchased new fog light bulbs on April 21st. Emailed and called after the first week where I still had no shipping information. Finally got a response saying they were shipped and would send tracking number. May 1st, still had no tracking number... called and emailed again still no response to this day and no bulbs!

Oh also in addition to the email/phone calls I sent message on forum and no response either besides the original "they were being shipped and would send tracking information".

Anyone else experience this? I mean it was only $22 but still, I would definitely not recommend this seller at this point.

Ya i've had issues with them and decided to just not buy from them again. I'll leave it at that.

Yes and yes. Had the same issue a year ago or so. I called and emailed and nothing.
It wasn't until i reported it to PayPal that they finally stepped up and sent out the $20 bulbs. Definitely staying away from them.

About 4 days after making this thread I got an email from them finally with shipping information. Also in the email it said something along the lines of "We have thrown in some vanity mirror LEDs for the inconvenience, so now please remove your post from the forum as we have done our part in getting this settled."

From talking with other members on the forum here it seems as this is a standard play in their playbook. Unfortunately for them I believe that posts like this are one of the main reasons forums exist and help other members be aware of vendor experiences.

I will say I do think throwing in free items always helps and I am not as sour with this company but I also think that it doesn't make the whole experience "worth while or better".

Weird, I've purchased H3/ H8 GP Thunder bulbs countless times from E92-Lighting and I've never had a problem.. Items came in about 1 week every time.

I have to agree. They have terrible customer service and I would never buy anything from them.

So after posting this I am continually getting hit with PM's from e92-lighting offering me additional free items to remove my post.

I do think that offering free things to improve the chances of me shopping with them again is a good idea though the added caveat that the post should be removed after receiving said gift is not how this forum is supposed to work in my opinion.

Vendor feedback forums are for just that feedback and experiences with vendors, whether good or bad. In the end better communication from the vendor could have solved this whole problem as I was not in a rush for the product just didn't want to be left in the dark for 3 weeks.

I honeslty have bought 2 maybe 3 sets of tpms sensors from them...and never had a prob....now on the same hand that was almost 1-2 years ago... But still customer services should be even across the board.

But if they are offering gifts....tell them you want a single turbo upgrade and you'll remove the post hahaha

I made one one order with them/him, it wasn't necessarily smooth but I eventually got the item. there was some utter nonsense and even lies in between when I placed the order and finally received it. I do think that he worked hard to fix the initial lack of contact and make me satisfied but this was after the fact. I definitely don't think that he is scamming, but i believe it's a one man show and he hasn't mastered yet how to keep it running smooth and definitely underestimates the intelligence of the board members here with his excuses. Not someone to avoid at all costs but probably go with another vendor if all else is equal.

I am having issues with there customer service as well. . I ordered a set of turn signal bulbs and interior light kit. After two months they never sent the turn signal bulbs even though they said they did but gave me a refund after many emails. The interior lights are not the ones I ordered. I keep asking for a refund and I'll return the bulbs. Just keep stalling. I am disputing with paypal. I have to say this is by far the worst customer service I have had.

I have seen several post like these. I had ordered interior LED and TPMS from them both shipped immediately with no issues.
