I only have an Injen Intake, and when I got the JB4 I noticed the difference. Even now after getting used to it, when I switch from map 0 to 1 I feel the power. Something probably went wrong during the install.

Set it back to Map 0 gonna drive like that for a little while, then go back to Map 1 and see what happens.

I remember reading that the JB4 adapts only in 3rd and 4th gears above 5k rpm. Someone correct me if things have changed.

The ECU will adapt to everything, if it sees too much boost or knock, it will reduce timing, everygear, every rpm, if you start putting 87 gas or 91 arco in your car, you will be ok because the ECU can handle it for you

It is possible though, that the JB4 lets everything run stock until 4th and 5th gear, which could make that happen, but then you will have no power in 1st 2nd 3rd :\

you should feel the power difference right away. Go on the free way, in mexico that is, put it in 3rd and run all the way to redline 2 or three times.

There shouldn't be an adaptation. With a piggyback, you are simply running on set maps. There is nothing dynamic that is going to adapt with conditions, so you should feel the power from the initial install. Perhaps your expectations are too high for an otherwise stock vehicle.

They aren't to high lol . All I hear is how the difference is night and day, I don't feel any difference. I switch back to map 0 go through the gears, then back to map1 pulls the same. I am going back to Eurowerks who did the install tomorrow to have them take a look, if for some reason there is something wrong with it, I will have them install another one. Already messaged Terry my situation to see what he says.

Did you ever find out the cause of your issue? Or is your butt dyno broken?

If I could add, I felt a big difference installing my jb3 stage 1 from stock.

i've had my jb4 and DCI installed for 2 days now.
was expecting big things but hardly notice a change.
If anything, Map 0 on highway driving is more responsive than map 2.

I'm running on map5 (auto tuning), also I would contact Terry Burger.

Turn the boost overlay on and check to see that you're hitting 12.5 psi, stock is ~9. You won't feel a huge difference between 3.5psi, but the power is definitely there. I had the same misgivings as you did when I first got it installed, I wasn't sure whether I gained much at all. After doing a few pulls through 2nd/3rd and then driving the car the next morning (oil cold, JB4 deactivated) I noticed the difference in power.
