It's not just the breaking the window thing either. The salesman at my local dealers reckoned that he's heard that they can just drill the lock and force it round. Much like when you use the key blade in the lock to drop all the windows, doesn't set the alarm off.

But you are restricted to the little slack that the OBD loom has and to me soon they will soon cotton on to this and start thrashing the under panel below your steering wheel looking for the OBD. Extending the loom and hiding the port in a place of your own choice seems a bit better but then they may start thrashing the dash looking for it.
