Question Okay guys, it's done, what's my next car?

So my E92 has officially transferred to my parents, and I'm rolling around in a Ford Focus now. Man this thing has 110hp, I can feel the engine top end driving around my neighborhood.

Options I'm considering (from $$$ least to highest):

Another E92 328i - I really liked this car, wouldn't mind buying another one. The reliability and performance have been phenomenal. I'm a BMW fan for sure.

E90 328/335 LCI - I love the new look. More aggressive, and 4 doors would be useful now that the "little one" is starting to wiggle around a lot more.

Porsche Cayman S - This will take some convincing with the wife, but we still have the Ford Focus so it's not like a 2 seater car will be a deal breaker, but it's definitely a strike against it in the "bargaining" phase. The power and performance would be beyond the E92 328i, and it probably is a LOT more fun to throw around.

Used 997 - The Cayman is nice, but the 911 is iconic. I actually like the look of the Cayman slightly more, but this car speaks for itself. A real track star.

Used C6 Z06 - I nearly owned this car before I went "BMW". It still presents the same problems as last time though. A 3,200LBS car with 500+HP, and a fiberglass body with my almost 1 year old son in the passenger seat kind of scares me. The power is unmatched however, and this is about as close to a FIA GT car anyone will own. I'm so torn on this one.

BMW E92 M3 - I love how this car looks, I'd say it's the BEST looking BMW that is offered today. The performance isn't anything to sneeze at either.

Other - I'll take suggestions from the esteemed experts of this board.

Help me out guys!

$30,000 - $65,000

Good handling, sporty performance. That's why there isn't a Dodge Charger on there.

A used Cayman S would be nice. I'd vote for that or an e9X. I wouldn't vote for the Z06 for the reasons you just listed, lol.

Yeah the wife would probably fight me tooth and nail on it also. I don't know if I need the stress. The Cayman S and E92 M3 just look so delicious...

I vote for LCI 335i because I'm a new dad myself and I'm much too lazy to try and cram a baby seat into any of your sportier choices.

Facelifted 335i FTW. The new rear on those things sure make it look mean.

I have. I'm a big fan of 2 door cars, but it's looking more and more like a 4 door may be in my future. Kids.

Z06!

Really good handling, Very sporty performance meets your criteria and it looks real good!

you've had an E92 - wouldnt get another one

the 997 would be a distant second for me, the cayman's not in the same league as the z06 in my opinion when it comes to sports cars..

or soup up the Focus - is it one of the new ones or the old ones? (08+)

or get a used duo select quattroporte

E90 M3. Practical for your situation but is still an M3.

The Ford Focus is a 2005. It's rated at 110HP, so I'm guessing it dynos at... 65-70whp.

It was my wife's car, and now it's our only transportation besides my truck (which is stick and she can't drive).

You're right the Z06 would obliterate the Cayman S, but I'm past the age where I need to obliterate ricer boys on the streets. I just want the car to be fun and entertaining.

Look at the C63 AMG. Definately give it one look. It is said to be as feral as the M3 is composed and with all the gob smacking torque, you will be pleasantly surprised.
