NJ potholes ftl

So I was on rt 1&9 last night after the rain when I got sucked into a "pothole". This pothole cracked my front wheel into pieces and left me needing to replace 3 tires along with the rim. I actually saw 4 other cars on the side of the road in the same area all with the same issue. It just really pisses me off that the city could be so negligent to let something that big happen to their roads and then not take responsibility for it.

But anyway I need some help from you guys.... I have an 06 330xi with the style 158 wheels 17x8 with Bridgestone Turanza 225/45/17 RFT. So let me know if anyone has just one wheel they want to sell and 3 replacement tires (getting 2 are critical, the 3rd one is just bubbled so not a terribly pressing issue yet). I'd also be interested in buying a whole set of a different style of non-staggered OEM wheels. Let me know what you guys have, and I know I'm new here so thanks in advance!!

i dont think oem 16's fit a 330

op good luck getting everything repaired
with a pothole that big i'd make sure your suspension is okay too
I know the feeling as i cracked an oem 17 inch wheel before
it just goes to show how bad the roads can be around here

wow, thanks you and that's incredibly generous of you. I'm still trying to find just one 158 wheel which is turning out to be more difficult than expected, but I should be alright.

Like I said I'm new here, but as far users go this is already turning out to be one of the best forums I've been on

Yeah I was really worried about my suspension after this, but I went underneath the car and looked around and luckily nothing seems to even be dinged bent or damaged on the suspension at all, and just so I could get the car home that night, my friend came in another car and brought me 2 wheels off his m3 and it seemed like even the alignment was straight but regardless I'm gonna do an alignment after I get the wheels on anyway

This was my first experience with run flats, but I keep hearing negative things about them. Maybe I should switch it up...

Damn, that really sucks.
Did you make an accident report for the damage? It would fall under pothole/defective street, it happened to a friend of mine years ago in NYC , she sued and the city paid for all damages.
Just in case the damages were really expensive, take pics of the area, pothole, etc and make a claim with the city it happened in, there is a time frame as to when to file a notice, so you should do this as soon as you can if your interested in going that route.
