Yes you did. Pisses me off too bc I'm a diyer when I can. Put cryo rotors on our van this morning, 20 minutes per side including correct torqueing.

I've never quit anything in my life faster than that downpipe job.

Where did you take your car to have your downpipes installed? I got quotes for $400-450. Needless to say my downpipes have been sitting in my closet for awhile and I was going to try to install them myself but now you guys have me changing my mind.

RJs (Ron) on Capital. He's done a bunch of them. Ron charged me $300. I heard a bit of a rumble which may or may not be my downpipe hitting (or throwout rattling) Haven't had time to shake it down. But if there is any problem, he will make it right.

He also did both my Evos and does all the Vette guys' with electric cutouts, etc. He's a cool old-school dude that likes classic Z cars, and recently completed an LS swap on his with a turbo. Don't let the look of the shop fool you. Also, he had me drop it off that afternoon and ready at lunch on Saturday. Tell him Jay with the black BMW 335 told you to call.

BPC quoted me ~$400 and I've known the owner for years. Dan is a master tech so you know that job is rough for him to quote that.

Actually, the only two DIYs that people have really recommended against are DP on ramps, and headlight opening for amber delete.

I think I'll take that as a sign and look for some overlays. Yes, most of them look like crap, but my headlights are too nice and new looking for me to just go frak them up.

I would definitely settle for this for $13:

Looks way better on a dark car than on a light car. Since mine is black, I figure I'll give the tinted ones a go. They look less hacked-together than the body color ones.

anyone in the raleigh area know where I should go to relocate the evap canister in the rear of my 328? I'm waiting to hear back from my body shop at the moment (paragon collision)

Muffler shop (henry's) says its in the way for my dual exhaust conversion.

Ugh not really. Shade tree or BPC might have seen it done or know about it. I'm thinking Google is a better answer machine for this one.

Thanks,

I thought of BPC this morning. Called Dan at 8:45, brought in the car at 9 and had it finished after lunch.

Heading to Henry's tomorrow morning to finish the exhaust.

My first time at BPC was great. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Definitely will be going back.

Uh, unless it's under dust in your garage, you are definitely missing your intake manifold cover in those photos bro.

I'm not trying to be a dick bro, I really thought you were, but I didn't realize the 335 doesn't have it. The n52 has a cover on that part because the airbox is in a different location.

Hahaha my bad man I didn't mean to come off like an ass, I really didn't think you were trying to be a dick, you did have me confused and second guessing myself lmfao. So I was trying to see what I wasn't seeing. But I get what your saying. My B.

Hope y'all had a good thanksgiving.

Out down 387 hp and 433 torque(dyno jet numbers) on force fed's dyno Tuesday. However that's right before my HpFP gave me an issue at 5900 rpm. Could of got more HP I think.

Jb4, DCI, and e85 40%. And OCC.

Carolina Import and Domestic on Capital Blvd does great work and his prices were pretty reasonable.

My only complaint with him is he has no weekend hours. 8-5 Monday thru Friday only.
