Quick question 6mt e92 335

Hi guys i was just wondering when you shift from first to second what rpm do you guys start second gear at?

Sometimes i have the feeling that car is under 5 second 0-60

Other times i feel it over.

I have modded CDV.

Plz share your info!

I drive E92 335 6MT Sport, Premium, Navi, etc WITH 19 inch option, im saying that because maybe the 19 are slowing me down or something.

Just wanna make sure nothing is wrong with my car.

If you really want to know how fast your car is / whats wrong with your car. Use a real dyno. Butt dynos are generally not very accurate.

It depends what mood i'm in and how i'm driving the car, but for everyday driving around town I usually shift from 1st to 2nd around 2800-3500rpm.

everyday 4k ish, all out redline, 1st-> 2nd has the largest gearing drop of all the shifts thinking you should shift sooner to put more power to the wheels in second is [insert inflammatory word here]; only reason you should shift sooner is if you cant get it in gear fast enough because of the synchros not working well

People with the 6MT, do you notice that your 1st to 2nd gear shift is the most notchy and rubbery feeling?

the synchros are not adequate enough for the large RPM drop involved from 1st -> 2nd (its the biggest drop) the feeling is "normal" for 335s
